CSUMC is proud to share a recent Wisconsin Humanities Spotlight feature on Postdoc Dr. Sallie Anna Pisera! Over the past two years, Dr. Pisera has been conducting fieldwork and organizing public productions for her project, Interwoven Roots and Routes, for her Postdoc in Public Folklore. Dr. Pisera’s research has been focusing on the Scandinavian and Somali diasporic communities in Minneapolis, MN and Barron County, WI, and was awarded funding from WI Humanities to augment her public programs.
