Memories of Lac du Flambeau Elders is a collection of interviews with fifteen Ojibwe elders of the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians in northern Wisconsin.	Folklorists Jim Leary and Rick March have distilled a definitive presentation of Upper Midwestern traditional and ethnic music, from Ojibwe drums to Norwegian fiddles, from polka to salsa, from gospel choirs to southeast Asian rock bands. A historical overview of Swiss music in America's most European state, and a short autobiography of Rudy Burkhalter, an influential performer whose varied career, in the Old World and the New, epitomizes the Swiss American experience.

	Midwest Ramblin'
	Now on CD, a toe-tapping re-release of 26 old-time music tunes by Wisconsin's beloved Goose Island Ramblers, Bruce Bollerud, George Gilbertsen, and Wendy Whitford, who began performing their special blend of accordion, fiddle, guitar, and humor in the Madison area in the 1960s.
