Christine Garlough, Assistant Professor, Communication Arts

Christine Garlough holds a Ph.D. from University of Minnesota . She teaches introductory courses in Communication Arts and Folklore as well as a graduate course in rhetoric, culture and folklore. She is working on a book that explores how Indian Americans in two Midwestern ethnic schools use folklore to advance larger social goals, such as ethnic identity formation and community building.
